As a recruiter, you will be responsible to drive new business for Island Recruiting, manage proposal responses, monitor competitive market conditions, and work with Management to develop Island Recruiting’s public profile and brand. In addition, you will guide candidates through our TALENT FINDER™ hiring process and match them with our clients.

Requirements:
• Identifying and actively searching for new business leads
• Following up on new business opportunities
• Developing and implementing resourcing and selection strategies
• Identifying active and passive candidates by effectively using social media and networking
• Evaluating skill level, conduct efficient and professional selection process, and drive offer process, salary recommendations and negotiations, and closing of candidates
• Communicating effectively with the hiring managers and senior stakeholders

Mandatory skills:
• At least 2 years previous recruiting experience
• Post secondary education
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
