Sales and Marketing Administrator

About our Client:

The Business Market is searching for a Sales and Marketing Administrator to operate in a home office environment, which will involve door-to-door sales initiatives. The successful applicant must be able to work independently, produce unique sales packages for clients, organize their own marketing initiatives and represent this newly opened organization with a professional demeanour. Our client is seeking an outgoing and hard-working individual to add to their growing team!


The Sales and Marketing Administrator is responsible for greeting and working with customers by determining their needs, asking questions, and providing guidance in selecting the right insurance package. Reaching business and sales targets, using excellent selling and communication skills, will be a focus for this position. A motivated and driven individual who is comfortable communicating with and seeking out clientele will be essential for this role.

General duties of this position would include:

  • Contributing information, ideas, and research to help develop marketing strategies
  • Assisting in detail, design, and implementation of marketing plans for service being offered
  • Setting marketing schedules and coordinating with colleagues, sponsors, and other professionals to implement strategies across multiple channels
  • Answering questions from clients about product and service benefits
  • Developing revenue generation strategies
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service
  • Tracking sales data, working to meet quotas and/or sales team goals
  • Maintaining and expanding the company’s current client base
  • Emphasizing service features and benefits, quote prices, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining budgeting measures and invoicing
  • Effectively communicating with company supervisors and managers
  • Analysing trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
  • Providing prompt and courteous customer service
  • Working with customers to determine their requirements and unique needs
  • Investigating and troubleshooting customer service issues


Day-to-Day duties of this position would include:

  • Developing positive working relationships
  • Being a leader within their realm
  • Ensuring to be proactive during daily operations
  • Providing customers with accurate pricing information, and notifying them of current offerings

Requirements for this position would include:

  • Post-Secondary education within the field of marketing, business administration or related
  • Additional professional certifications will be considered a strong asset
  • Understanding and knowledge of sales, marketing, and management activities
  • Minimum of two years experience in a sales and marketing position, or related area
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • A demonstrated ability in computer proficiency
  • Strong knowledge in the use of MS Office programs
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Ability to work overtime, where necessary

Working Conditions:

  • Full time, permanent
  • Working hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 AM
  • Location: Home office environment
    • Requires accountability, door-to-door client meetings
