Blake Doyle

Blake DoyleMr. Doyle is a business owner and entrepreneur who resides in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. He has started numerous businesses in the retail and service sectors and has traveled, for business, across North America and the world.

Blake resided in Halifax for eight years. While in Halifax he participated in a number of information technology companies and led a successful divesture of a regional e-commerce company to a publicly traded company.

Blake received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Prince Edward Island and an Executive MBA from Saint Mary’s University. His current operating entities revolve around retail management, management consulting, Human Resource consulting and investment financing.

As an entrepreneur Blake has the ability to analyze data and make pragmatic business decisions quickly. Blake continues to provide strategic advice to numerous companies across various sectors.

 

Marcia Beck

Ms. Beck has used her Human Resource education in a professional setting for two years. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary’s University with a focus in Human Resources and Management in 2008. In early 2009, she began working in a Human Resource capacity developing HR policies and creating process documentation for private sector businesses. Marcia currently manages the operations at Island Recruiting and facilitates the foreign hiring process on behalf of clients.

As a member of the Immigration Task Force, Business Under 40 Committee and past member of the Labour Relationships Committee with the Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce, Marcia has kept current on the HR needs of businesses and informed on current Human Resource initiatives.

As a Manager, Marcia has the ability to effectively identify and diagnose strategic challenges and recommend appropriate actions for an organization to take. Marcia is skilled to solve problems using analytical and conceptual skills, and to think critically.

Wendy MacIntyre

Ms. MacIntyre has been practicing in the Human Resources profession since 2003. She earned her Human Resources Management Certificate through UPEI and Holland College after completing her BA with a major in Sociology at St. Mary’s University. In 2007 she obtained the national professional designation of Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and also received the New Human Resources Leader award for Atlantic Canada.

Wendy has worked in a variety of capacities in private, public and not-for-profit sectors and understands the impact of human resource practices on organizations and their businesses. Relevant experience includes HR Advisor, Tourism Human Resource Sector Council/Tourism Industry Association of Prince Edward Island; HR Manager, Island Coastal Services; and Human Resources Assistant, Department of Health and Wellness.

Wendy’s focus is to understand the client’s vision and work with them toward achieving their goals through viable and efficient Human Resource strategies.

 

Jamie Kilbride

Jamie is a dedicated recruitment professional where “above and beyond” is his motto. He has been a Recruiter since 2003 successfully matching employers and job-seekers across the country.

His background before recruiting was client service based as well as entrepreneurial ventures in which he learned most of his skills that relates to hiring managers.

Ashlee London

Ashlee is an outgoing, personable and dedicated Recruitment Professional. After graduating from St. Mary’s University with a BA in Psychology and HR Management certification Ashlee gained valuable executive recruiting experience in the oil and gas industry in Calgary. Ashlee appreciates the importance of building strong client and candidate relationships and enjoys connecting, meeting and working with talented candidates and interesting clients in a variety of industries.

Ashlee is best known for her attention to detail and her ability to listen to the client’s needs and understand the qualifications for a perfect candidate-employer fit. Following the disciplines of research, analysis, strategy and execution, she achieves results for clients.

Outside of Island Recruiting she enjoys the outdoors, her new home, softball, and spending time with her niece and nephews. Ashlee is also an active volunteer with the Canadian Mental Health Association and the Parkinson Society Maritime Region.

 

Sue Zhang

Sue is currently the Administrative Coordinator at Island Recruiting. Originally from Chengdu, China, she started her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in the University of Prince Edward Island in 2008. She is in her final year at UPEI and participating in the University Case Competition Team. Sue is very excited to apply what she learned in school to her work in Island Recruiting.

Sue is very fluent in both English and Mandarin. Her working tasks are mainly administrative supporting work such as document filing and client record tracking. Her regular office working hours are around 12pm to 4pm Monday to Friday.
