Logistics & Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Our client is searching for logistics and accounts receivable support personnel. The ideal candidate will be career-focused, customer service-oriented, proficient with computer systems and independent.

Located in eastern PEI in the growing community of Three Rivers, this opportunity allows the successful applicant to work outside the busy urban centers of the Island. Your role will be one of material importance to coordinate key logistics and maintain records and reports.

Pirna Location: Three Rivers

 

Logistics:

  • Perform inventory counts physically, computerize them and reconcile accordingly;
  • Process paperwork from suppliers and ensure accurate inventory is maintained;
  • Receive and register purchase invoices, forms, records and other documents for data capture;
  • Process purchase orders;
  • Monitor inventory using manual or computerized inventory systems;
  • Compile inventory reports, recording the type, value and quantity of materials, equipment and stock available;

 

Accounts Receivable:

  • Process invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing;
  • Review customer accounts for discrepancies and resolve any billing issues;
  • Analyze customer payment history and follow up on overdue accounts;

 

Administration:

  • Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages;
  • Balancing daily sales and preparing bank deposits;
  • Order office supplies;

About candidate:

  • Experience in administration
  • Proficient in data entry;
  • Problem solver;
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office suite;
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts;
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions;
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers;
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle/transportation (if not living close)

 

Benefits:

  • Wage range: $19-$22 per hour, based on experience
  • Group Insurance – medical & dental

 

Employment type:

  • Full-time, Year-round.
  • Work hours: 40 – 45 hours per week.
