Annual Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000

Allan Equipment is a dynamic and growing company. Currently, they are looking for a highly qualified Manufacturing Inventory/Parts Manager who will be responsible for: developing and implementing inventory control procedures, tracking systems and analyzing daily product and supply levels. The successful candidate must have a thorough knowledge of inventory controls and procedures.  They must have a minimum of five years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.  An agricultural background would be a definite asset.

Duties:

  • Implement and manage Job Boss software
  • Manage the Inventory and Parts Counter team and operation
  • Oversee inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels
  • Create, track, and update purchase order delivery status
  • Evaluate incoming and outgoing deliveries
  • Analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate problems and shortages
  • Maintain and develop relationships with vendors and customers
  • Prepare inventory, supply, and cost reports
  • Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics
  • Track production schedules
  • Ensure compliance with equipment ordering processes
  • Create ordering reports based on an annual operating plan
  • Report on inventory levels, supply chain progress and revenue growth to management
  • Manage training of new inventory employees
  • Monitor and manage parts for production schedules
  • Maintain inventory data and documentation in Job Boss
  • Analyze annual operating plan and liaise with internal departments to ensure future inventory requirements are satisfied
  • Manage parts purchase orders and submit PO’s to suppliers
  • Manage price change deadlines with parts vendors and notify internal teams
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure optimal timing of parts deliveries
  • Provide ongoing inventory coordination with internal departments
  • Maintain equipment within a fixed asset software program

Requirements for this position would include:

  • More than 5 year’s progressive experience in inventory management, procurement, or related position
  • Post-Secondary Degree in Logistics, Inventory, Manufacture, Accounting  a related program OR equivalent experience is considered a vital asset
  • Experience working with a fully integrated ERP system and knowledge of CRM
  • Strong analytical skills with proven attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite with exceptional Excel skills

Compensation and benefits:

  • Starting salary ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 per year depending on qualifications
