Wage: $25 – $30 /h
Shift and schedule: Full-time Monday to Friday; 37.5 hours per week
Term: 6 months contract with potential to extend

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team. The Marketing Assistant will support the marketing department in various tasks, including data analysis, email marketing, graphic design, and digital advertising. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and has a strong passion for marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of relationships with manufacturers and traders in Canada and foreign countries;
- Assist with organizing and coordinating marketing events or promotions
- monitor and report all events, expos, conferences related to agribusiness and agriculture in Canada
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns
- Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities
- Create engaging content for email marketing campaigns
- design graphics and create content for social media posts, website banners, and other marketing materials are preferred
- Manage and update the company website using WordPress or other content management systems
- Monitor and optimize Google Ads campaign
Qualifications
- strong international communication skills
- post-secondary education in marketing is preferred
- experience in the agricultural sector is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- familiar with Microsoft Suite and social media
- Understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices
- Experience with Google Ads or other online advertising platforms
