Registered Nurse

Duties include:

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment;
  • Maintain and update accurately patient medical records related to patients’ encounters;
  • Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed;
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy in all aspects of the organization;
  • Collaborate with team members to monitor patients’ conditions, detect changes, and respond appropriately;
  • Educate and update residents and families on ongoing situations related to their treatment;
  • Report on logistics that need to be restocked when noticed;
  • Develop and provide comprehensive care plans, assess and measure outcomes;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and community partners;
  • Follow all the organization’s policies, protocols, and safety guidelines;
  • Step in and help with patients when a team member requires assistance or is not available;
  • Participate in departmental/organizational meetings and serve on committees as assigned;

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; Evaluated by an accredited body if obtained outside Canada;
  • Have passed NCLEX;
  • Have started the NNAS;
  • Registered Nurse in your country of residence;
  • 5+ years of recent clinical experience as a RN, preferably in an acute care, long-term care or home care setting;

  • Strong computer skills and experience with electronic information systems;
  • Effective communication both written and verbal;
  • Possesses customer service skills;
  • Able to continually wear cheerful disposition;
  • Organized; Respectful; hardworking; team player; Adaptable
  • Demonstrated competency in relevant clinical skills
  • Able to work overtime or weekends as needed.
