Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare orders and oversee the loading and unloading of goods from trucks and other service vehicles.
- Deal respectfully with customers and ensure that complaints are resolved promptly.
- Assemble products, record contents, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.
- Verify incoming goods for damages before sign-off.
- Verify goods against checklist/invoices to record damages and shortages.
- Ensure that the pricing and signage of goods is done properly
- Must operate a hydraulic lift, pallet jack, hand truck and other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
- Reconcile tills and paperwork after work.
- Use of merchandising skills required
- Adhere to safety protocols and report safety issues to Safety Officer
- Willingness to supervise up to 5 staff
- Use of POS system as necessary
- Disposal of garbage and cardboard
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Willingness to train new staff
About candidate:
- Problem solver;
- Skilled with Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Word);
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.
- A forklift certificate is an asset but not required.
- Experience in a related clerical occupation or as a warehouse worker but not required.
- A driver’s licence may be required.
- Language: English
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work under fast-paced conditions
- Physically demanding: standing, lifting, bending or twisting the body.
- Handling heavy loads

- Weekly Workload: 30-48 hours per week
Remuneration / Benefits:
- Hourly wage range: $16.20 – $19.00
- 4% vacation pay
- 1.5 hours of paid time off for each hour of overtime accumulated.
